Family Tree Straight Chuter Snowboard - 2024
-
Detail
Answering the call of the steep and deep, we strap into the Burton Family Tree Straight Chuter Snowboard from Burton to pick apart the gnarliest terrain like a bat out of hell. This freeride powerhouse gets Burton's top technology and construction treatment to help us check off those bucket-list bowls, couloirs, and powder zones with confidence.
This absolute charger starts with a directional freeride shape that tapers substantially towards the tail, and pairs with a setback stance, to put us in the driver's seat and float over pow just as easily as straight-lining a harrowing couloir. A lightweight DragonFly core and turbo-charged carbon laminates work together to provide twitchy response and a playful feel without sacrificing stability at speeds. And rounding things out, Burton gave this freeride machine a recycled sintered WFO base to stay fast in slow spots with eco-friendly performance.
